Hi, my name is Angelica and I'm a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist. I have a diagnosis of Autism (ASD), therefore, this is an area I have an interest in, and also specialise in. I also specialise in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma and narcissistic abuse.

My background
I am a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist trained in CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, Psychodynamic therapy and Integrative therapy. I have also recently completed training in EMDR plus IFS (Internal Family Systems), as well as Psychosexual Therapy.
​
I worked in the NHS (in the UK) for 4 years, initially as a trainee psychologist, then as a qualified Counselling Psychologist. I have worked in CAMHS (children's services), The Neurodevelopmental Team, Affective Disorder's and Specialist Psychotherapy Services.
-I have also gained therapeutic experience at placements such as Place2Be and Durham University Counselling Services.

-I am registered with the Independent Commissioner's Office (ICO) and also have professional indemnity insurance. I also have full DBS cover.

-I'm also registered and accredited with the HCPC, and registered with the EMDR association, and currently undergoing their accreditation process.

-I currently work exclusively as self employed, and have my own private practice. offering face to face sessions as well as video calls. I have been working privately for over 4 years now.
​
-My predominant expertise is in the areas of Autism, Trauma, Narcissism, Anxiety and Depression.
